The team at Lewis Marquees have had a busy year in 2021, so we wanted to take a moment to reflect on what we have been up to this year and showcase a few of our marquee installations.
Welcoming Customers Back After lockdown
It is hard to deny the impact that the lockdown had on everyone at the start of the year. After a long wait, restrictions were finally lifted, and we couldn’t wait to help businesses re-open their doors.
In June, we assisted small business La Casa Flemenca, welcome customers back to their restaurant in Port Solent. We installed a ‘Chinese hat’ marquee used to create more capacity for eating and drinking inside while following government guidelines.
Stansted Park Garden Show
On a summers day in 2021 the team were called on to install large traditional marquees for the Garden show event at Stansted Park. We work closely with this beautiful venue, so we were all extremely excited to be back doing what we do best in a location that is truly breath-taking in the sunshine.
Student Bar Re-Opening
Socialising is something that was greatly missed during the COVID lockdown, so we were pleased we could help the student bar (Zee bar) at the University of Chichester open again with a clear roof marquee. This marquee installation helped the bar reopen safely, so students could mingle again with a drink in hand.
The Return of Weddings
Many people sadly had their wedding plans put on hold because of the pandemic, so we were overjoyed when it was announced people could celebrate their big day with the people they care about once again.
Woodland Wedding
In August, we installed a beautiful clear span marquee for a woodland wedding. The clear roof added a wow factor and beautiful interiors supplied by one of our trusted partners ‘Crescent moon events’ and lighting by ‘Lighting with intent’ made for a truly spectacular day.
Autumn Wedding
We finished off the season strong with a stunning marquee installation for an Autumn wedding celebration. It was a big team effort working with a few of our trusted partners, we pulled out all the stops to make this the perfect event for our customers.
