Lewis Marquees are experts in marquee hire and event planning. Over the years the Lewis Marquees team are proud to have built a strong reputation for their quality craftsmanship, and attention to detail. Specialising in MUTA accredited canvas tents, the team offer a bespoke service tailored to each client’s individual needs.
Formally owned by the Lewis family until the end of the 20th century, the marquee hire company was taken over by Orlando Vaughan and Tom Greene. Both Orlando and Tom have a wealth of experience when it comes to the marquee hire and event planning industry and are passionate about carrying on the Lewis Marquees name and legacy.
Whether you are planning a wedding, corporate event or party, our main aim is to provide you with a luxury temporary structure that creates the perfect setting for making unforgettable memories with your guests. A full interior and event planning service is available on request, with which the team will be able to source any requirement and make sure your day goes without a hitch.
Our heritage
We take great pride in our heritage at Lewis Marquees. Our long history dates back to the mid 19th century when Lewis & Sons was a specialist rope and sack maker. During the second world war they began to make tents for the military and eventually settled as a specialist marquee company during the following years. Our marquees are still in the way they have always been (with a few modern updates of course!) and we are able to create a truly unique and bespoke tent for you.
